Student Attendance Statement
At Future Finders, we believe that for us to work alongside our students and for us to support our students to be the best that they can, strong student attendance is essential. If students are too unwell or are unable to attend College please inform us by 9:00am on each day of absence by calling the office number 0161 518 7155 or by emailing the Student Administrator at Sarah.Crawley@newbridgegroup.org. We ask you to do this so we know that our students are safe.
Future Finders staff will encourage our students to attend whenever possible. Yet, they are not permitted to enforce attendance should a student feel too poorly or refuse to attend. Nevertheless, persistent unauthorised absences will be monitored closely and followed up in-line with our contractual responsibilities to fee paying Local Authorities. If a student becomes ill whilst at College or at work placement and it is agreed by staff and the student that they should go home, it is the parent/carer’s responsibility to collect the student in a timely manner if the student is unable to travel home independently.

Access to Premises and Facilities Statement
We provide an enabling environment with an accessible building, facilities and resources for all. We are dutifully aware that equality means respecting diversity, not treating everyone the same yet according to their individual needs in order for them to be fully involved in College and community life.
Access, facilities and resources at the College Campus is regularly assessed and updated where necessary in response to our students’ needs.

Access to the Curriculum Statement
All of our students here at Future Finders Employability College have an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) which ensures students receive personalised targets which takes into account their needs and preferred methods of learning. Each student’s ILP build towards post Future Finders Employability College destinations, aligned with EHCP outcomes led by their individual aspirations and passions.
Staff work with students, parents/carers and wider stakeholders to ensure post Future Finders Employability College destinations are sustainable and strategies are effectively transferred to careers, community venues and preparation for adulthood.

Student Complaints
At all times, we aspire to communicate effectively with our students. However, we accept that we can on occasion make mistakes or fail to communicate as well as we would wish. We are committed to dealing with complaints promptly, fairly and carefully. We encourage students to raise (on an informal basis) any concerns they have at the earliest opportunity. In most instances, this will involve speaking directly with the member of staff concerned, who will try to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
In addition, you can get in touch with us in the following ways:
- By letter: Complaints, Future Finders Employability College, Pennine House, 77 Union Street, Oldham, OL1 1JZ
- By email: info@futurefinders.org
- By telephone: 0161 518 7155
- In person, after making an appointment
When you get in touch, please remember that we need to know what has happened, when it took place, who was involved and what you would like us to do to resolve the issue. If you require assistance in raising your complaint please let us know so we can put in place appropriate arrangements to support you throughout the complaints process. If you remain dissatisfied, the College has a formal Complaints Policy which sets out a structure under which your complaint can be heard. You can request a copy of the policy by contacting the Student Administrator at:
